The courses I've taken beyond Milton's classrooms, and the honors I've picked up along the way — from a 6th-grade robotics stage to a research conference in Montreal.
I took this for-credit course (STS 1101) exploring how technology shapes society and society shapes technology — a natural extension of my interest in engineering, policy, and economics.
A seven-week for-credit course on how computers store information, and which algorithms and data structures — lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs — fit which situations.
I learned to obtain, clean, process, and analyze datasets with R and Python. My final project was a complete report on car sales and resale prices.
A few of these came with a trophy. Most came with a lesson.
Awarded for scientific achievement — recognizing exceptional promise in scientific inquiry and research, tied to my work at MIT and Vanderbilt.
Given for the innovative design of the robot my team rebuilt in two weeks during grade 10 — judges interviewed us several times about our design process at that regional.
Qualified for the regional championship two years running, and reached a world-qualifying autonomous score in practice along the way.
My FLL team, the Mighty MOOOO-NS, made it to the World Level Competition and placed 2nd in the world in the robot design category.
A Milton Academy honor I received in both 7th and 8th grade.
Voted on by students and teachers — the only award of its kind given in middle school — and one I'm especially proud of, since it recognized how quickly I'd connected with my grade and teachers in my first year at a new school.

Co-authored and presented "KineticChain," my Vanderbilt research on boxing biomechanics, at the International Conference for Human-Computer Interaction in Montreal. More on my Research page.
